Orchestral, Epic and Action
An epic orchestral sound is film music’s bread and butter. I wrote these works for epic and
action scenes characterized by its grandiose, heroic, and adrenaline-fueled soundscapes, often
incorporating sweeping themes, pounding rhythms, and evolving instrumentation to evoke a
sense of cinematic spectacle and high-stakes drama. Featuring a large symphony orchestra,
sometimes augmented by choirs, percussion ensembles, and electronic elements, these scores
frequently employ soaring brass hits, thunderous drums, and racing string arpeggios to create an
atmosphere of thrilling excitement and urgent momentum. Emotion drives everything, drama
defeat and victory, the orchestra is the perfect medium to express these big emotional swings.
