Horror, Suspense
and Sci Fi
I have written a lot of music for horror, suspense and sci fi projects, it is style I know well and in which I enjoy immersing myself as a composer. Darkness (musical and emotional) sits at the core of most of these pieces, the music is characterized by its ominous, and unsettling soundscapes, often incorporating unconventional instrumental timbres, dissonant harmonies and eerie silences to evoke a sense of fear, unease, and uncertainty

Acoustic Guitars, Dobro and other Picked Instruments
Picking stings and strumming chords characterize all the pieces on this category. Generally the music in these compositions will not feature traditional Latin American sonorities or string instruments even if the music highlights a Spanish Guitar, instead, these pieces feature Acoustic Guitars as lead instrument or the center piece of music influenced by the Blues, Bluegrass, Eastern European melodies and even a hint of Morricone’s Westerns in the composition titled “El Face-off.”
