Orchestral with Latin Sonorities
These composition feature the orchestral while incorporating Latin sonorities and instruments.
The music aims to create vibrant, rhythmic, and emotive soundscapes, often blending traditional
classical elements with the rich musical heritage of Latin America. Featuring an array of
instruments such as the Acoustic Guitar, Charango, Ronroco, and various Latin percussion
instruments, these scores frequently incorporate complex polyrhythms, melancholic melodies,
and bold harmonies to evoke the passionate and expressive spirit of Latin music. Some of these
compositions are based traditional Latin musical styles such as Salsa, Tango, and even
Raeggeton, although most of these pieces get a “Latin” feel from the instrumentation and
arrangement. With these works, my goals was to create a sense of authenticity and cultural
depth.
