Percussive and Ethnic

As a composer, I have always been fascinated by the rich cultural heritage of music from around
the world. My music often features percussion and intricate rhythms, drawing inspiration from
wide range of ethnic instruments. These compositions offer a few examples of my work that
combine complex polyrhythms, minimalist textures, ethnic influences and classical sonorities.
My interest in complex rhythm and percussive textures has been a source of inspiration as a
composer since my student days at the Berklee College of Music and Yale University. I enjoy
experimenting with various sounds and instruments, creating a unique and captivating sound that
reflects my diverse musical influences. These compositions feature percussion, Marimbas,
Vibraphone, intricate rhythms, and music traditions from across the globe, including a Gamelan,
Middle Eastern and Indian music.
